Farewell to a Legend

Rosa Lee Parks has died in her Detroit home at the age of 92. Most of us will remember learning in elementary school about her refusal to give her seat to a white man in December 1955. The was arrested, convicted and jailed. This event sparked the little-known Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. to start a boycott of the buses in the south in January 1956.
